Boulder, Colorado – March 21, 2016:

Tech-X CEO and University of Colorado Professor John R. Cary has been awarded the 2016 IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society Charles K. Birdsall Award “for contributions to scientific discovery using computational methods across plasma physics, the development of computational algorithms and methods, and leadership of computational teams.”

Dr. Cary will receive this award at the 2016 ICOPS meeting in Banff, Alberta, Canada in June.
