radialCosChannel Parameters

direction (float vector)

Direction of the ramp (unit vector \({\bf \hat{u}}\) of gradient).

channelPosition (float)

Position of the center of the channel.

startRadius (float)

Radius (transverse to \({\bf \hat{u}}\)) at which the channel starts to turn into the outer region.

endRadius (float)

Radius (transverse to \({\bf \hat{u}}\)) at which the channel stops changing and the outer region begins.

startAmplitude (float)

Amplitude for \({\bf \hat{u}}\cdot {\bf x}<startPosition\).

endAmplitude (float)

Amplitude for \({\bf \hat{u}}\cdot {\bf x}>endPosition\).
