Introduction to Analyzers
Analyzers are executables provided with VSim for preparing data needed for a run or for post-processing simulation-produced data. They can produce one or a few numbers, such as mode frequencies, or they can produce large data files, like a density field from a particle file. In the latter case, the data is written into VizSchema compliant HDF5 files, which can then be visualized in the Visualization pane.
Using an Analyzer
The analyzer executables are located in the same directory as the Vorpal executable. They may be used either within VSimComposer‘s prepare or analysis tabs invoked on the command line. For command-line usage, one must have correctly set the environment as described in the “Setting Up Vorpal Command Line Environment” section in the User Guide manual.
